YUI RADIO #25 ～イッチィ☆登場の巻～ - After YUI's manager appearance, this time they introduced one of YUI's staff, Icchii san. He mostly in charge of YUI's homepage and updates Staff Report from time to time. Apparently he has something installed for fans, it has something to do with mobile phone users though =/ If I didn't misheard it. He plans to upload off shots videos of dear YUI, when she's working. I think it's for members mostly bleah.

YUI DIARY 26/7 夏ですね！！ - It's summer!! It's always summer in Malaysia though, according to someone, the four seasons of Malaysia are: Rainy, Drought, Haze, and now, Megasales season. Dear YUI is busy preparing for upcoming performances, interviews for new single (time to spend $$$ on magazines), and going to live houses. Dear YUI ended with: 夏アデュ～ (summer adieu~?) lol.

YUI LOCKS! 26/7 - YUI on (音) ~Summer songs.

Hmm new ukelele (first appeared on 19/7 YUI LOCKS)...This one has 4 strings. Anyone knows what brand is that?? Dear YUI wears watches quite often these days.



Dear YUI sang along with Michelle Branch's find your way back!!! She used to play this song alot when she first started guitar, at first it was difficult (Now should be sap sap water <- Manglish).

As for me, got my Dell Inspiron 1420 Brown safely on Friday. So far so good, just that the screen resolution is grainy even when I play YUI's HDTV zzz, and only 80G =.= Should have upgraded it to 120G...hopefully I can online at my uncle's place.

Bought some books @ Atria's Big Book Store book fair thing. You can see my temporary book list at LibraryThing, the link is on the right as well. Currently reading: Jared Diamond - Collapse. After reading it I feel guilty everything I take hot shower =.= From now on I'll try to take public transports instead of driving alone to school...

Found out that one of my junior started to learn guitar after watching Taiyou no Uta...............Drama Version bleh. I'm gonna 'appraoch' her anyway lol (since I know how to play that song too hee). It's fun to get to know more people. Especially 'interesting' ones.

LOVE & TRUTH

YUI LOCKS! - As I mentioned at shout box the other day, LOVE & TRUTH full version was aired in this week's YUI LOCKS (so little pictures...dear YUI looked 'thin' in the first pic).

As for the 'announcement' thing, not really benefit us overseas' fans but, YUI will take part in SCHOOL OF LOCK! LIVE TOUR - YOUNG FLAG. She will be performing along with Asian Kung-Fu Generation (Ajikan sensei) @ Zepp Fukuoka on October 12. Means that dear YUI will be going back her hometown =) Wonder if dear YUI will have any 'interactions' with Ajikan sensei xD Can't wait!!

Next week's YUI LOCKS will feature regular segment, YUI on (音). Ooo what song/ theme dear YUI will use this time??

Speaking of YUI LOCKS, after the 'great success' made by dear Alanna by 'entering' Japanese radio scene, I decided to send another one (along with our FROM US TO YOU 'album'), you know to explain to them (esp dear YUI) that we actually got YUI's message and stuff.

I wrote about it at here. If you happen to be staying in London right now, I need your help. Dear YUI kinda hopes that she can receive clips from London lol. I guess this is the only way we (or me) can show our gratitude/ love/ thanks to dear YUI directly, by 'answering' her requests.

Hopefully I can send it to Japan before August. Using Poslaju or Air mail LOL =x

Looks like a 'higher budgeted' PV. Featuring the strings musicians and stuff. Kinda have the feeling that I will like this one, HELLA LOT.

Back to LOVE & TRUTH. Dear Stephen has tabbed out the song, even included demo of the solos. Looks difficult >.< Fingers cannot reach 19th fret using acoustics T.T plus Bb is a freaking evil chord. I'm 'secretly' practicing Thank you My teens as well lol, for my 20th birthday =x

As usual, I'm such a biased fan so I enjoyed playing + singing this song, nice lyrics (so sad), YUI happy, me happy.

Oricon Style 30/7 - 20000 readers participated in some poll thingy, and Hikki became the most fave artist, dear YUI got number 13, and number 1 in both male and female fans under 20 category. More about it @ YL.

CDTV 21/7 - Dear YUI got number one again in the artists you wish to become your lover poll thingy. More info here and YL.

Yesterday I went to my aunt's shop and apparently she has restocked CBML regular edition =D

New Staff Diary - If you had planted your sunflower seeds (last year I think, will check it later), it should be bloomed around July~September. Who wants to 'sponsor' me some T.T

YUI Radio #24 - YUI's manager Waji san appeared again =D And...YUI 'invented' something again, an improvisation from wu~wang!! LOL. Can wait to 'see' the hand gesture xD

YUI LOCKS! (2007.07.12) - Oh she's not wearing jeans, something else xD Remember the episode which nobody answered YUI's calls (YUI attempted 3 times lol)? Dear YUI kinda regret/ dissapointed(?) about it and she decided to try it again. Hence the theme - 心残り. Direct translation from a Chinese speaker's point of view: Something left in heart =x

Luckily this time some fans answered. YUI kept thanking them for picking up the phone LOL.

This movie is about Erika who accidentally picked up Yuuko's diary, and something 'happened' afterwards (details next time). Preview is on YUI Radio #24 of course. Our dear forum member, zuttodayo has translated the lyrics as well. Will rant about it after I analysed it =x

And you can order this Closed Note - Music Movie with YUI soundtrack DVD thing @ Amazon. Which consist of clips from the making, music videos, with 'narrations' from dear YUI. If I didn't misread it.

As for me, Saturday I went to Bon Odori, helping out our Japanese Club to sell some stuff and met some YLs at the same time.

It was fun. It was destined for us YLs to meet each other. Because Mr. Shiro spotted me when I was selling fruits like a crazy woman at the stall. My work was actually done around 4 and after that I can do whatever I wanted but didn't know why I just had the feeling that I must at least try to 'built up' my selling skills and decided to help out. When I thought that I will remain 'invisible' forever, someone saw me right after the last dance (I think). Nice meeting you guys btw. Guitaring next time ya!! Chiyo, you're tall!!

Finally, someone from YUI Lover forum was mentioned by dear YUI!! Some more YUI read her name and played her band's cover of LIFE!!! I'm kinda part of it so I was really happy about it as well, proud to be a YUI Lover~

It all started from this thread in YL:

Which you can either play F chord or do a cover of LIFE and send it to YUI Locks. Dear YUI will play these audios from time to time in the show.

Minute 10:55. Before that YUI was talking about how she recorded her stuff, from cassette tape (pressing both record and play at once lol, brings back all the memories) to MD (remember TOKYO PV??). Then to all the different recording gadgets available now.

Again, sorry for the weird English. And yes I translated word by word. Because it was something...really important for us YLs =P

YUI: Next, this one's awesome, crossing over the seas, received it from a place called Toronto in Canada. Seems like it was from a band called Shinigami. "We've played our favourite song, LIFE!" "Take a listen to Shinigami's version of LIFE ya~" or something were kinda written on it.

Original message was all in English:
"Dear YUI Locks, We are from Toronto, Canada. We hope you enjoy our version of LIFE (it is our favourite song!) Thanks for listening. Rock on!"

It's obvious that YUI (or someone else) translated it to Japanese, if not YUI won't use so many times of 'mitai na, mitai' when introducing this clip lol.

YUI: In the end of the message you see, 'Rock on!' was written on it. Kakkoi! For no apparent reason you will just feel like wanna say it out, "ROCK ON~!" うん. Lets hear it shall we? LIFE, Shinigami's version.

Music: Shinigami - LIFE

YUI: はい、*in western-ish tone* Shinigami's version of LIFE (laughs). You know, the writings on the CD, as I said earlier "listen to it ya" that comment part, members names (probably) were written on it. Vocal, Nezy, lead guitar, Ahin? Rhythm guitar, Alanna (our dear forum member!!), piano, Jimmy, bass, Eric, percussion, Nido (or Niro?), drums, none, were written on it. Oh yea, seems like there's no Japanese names on it isn't it. But then it sounded very Japanese isn't it? Wonder if they can speak Japanese or not...However the best among all was this included "Rock On!", and with the band name 'Shinigami', without thinking further it was "SOFT!" (laughs). I was really surprised by such soft/ gentle sound. うん. And then you know, I was thinking how on earth they managed to listen to YUI LOCKS, maybe their friend (tomodachi) told them about it?? I guess so.

That 'tomodachi' YUI mentioned was ME!! ME!! LOL!!

YUI: It seems that not just Japan, there are also LIFE covers from different cultures, I think it's great and I'm really touched by it. Such warm (atatakai) sound was sent to me, I'm really ureshii! (happy, delighted). Hopefully this message can be heard, it will be great. うん. I'm really happy with all the entries received, all of you, thank you very much!!

To dear YUI: Yes we got your message 4 hours later after you made that comment. Or should I say through YUI LOCK's website? (lol rock turned into lock on xD )
