I'm leaving to Singapore on this Friday, going to meet a bunch of SGYLs and ex-classmates, watch Last Friends episode 8, guitar stores tour, and of course, EAT nice food.
To SGYLs, this is how Teo looks like:
Emily, Giddens aka 九把刀 and Teo
九把刀 is such a nice guy, everyone gets to take picture with him, and autograph. I wonder how long will I take to finish all his books.
PS: Finally watched ONCE, weird but I like it, imagine dear YUI once undergoes similar process ONCE. I love When Your Mind's Made Up~
Pictures of Malacca trip can be found here.

YUI is taking sabbatical leave from YUI LOCKS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Misc YUI Rants:
Lets continue the topic on encounters with YUI.
We all know that YUI will go around music stores privately on every new releases. But she always says that nobody realised her presence. She'll just enter those stores like normal customer unnoticed.
Actually, a bunch of fans spotted her, some of them chose not to disturb her since she is having her off day, and some chose to approach her, luckier ones even received YUI signatures in return.
In one of the recent radio shows, YUI admitted that sometimes she was spotted. One particular encounter was one time, there was a high school boy standing in front of the display with YUI's CDs. YUI walked towards the display and when she reached out her hand to sign those props, a high school boy standing beside, turned towards her and their eyes met each other.
As if nothing happened, that boy moved his head back, slowly. After a few seconds, he turned to YUI again, shock clearly written all over his face.
Our dear YUI then said:" Excuse me", and continued to leave her handwrinting on the display.
If I were the boy, I think I might say to YUI:" I will buy more copies if you are willing to sign on them."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In May 15 YUI LOCKS, YUI announced that she will be taking some time off to focus on making music, hence she will stop teaching in School of Locks for a while. But, once she finished her new song, SOL will be the first to air for sure.
Basically we have 2 more weeks left, no more weekly doses of YUI LOCKS starting June.
Our presents T.T Sorry guys. I'm not sure if she's going to do another segment on fanmade covers in the remaining 2 episodes.
I don't want to speculate anything, YUI did explain that it is not that she's going to take a break or retire from music scene, she just want to have more time to make music. It is a good thing I suppose. Remember that her tour is still going on, and not forget the rumour of her upcoming single in July.
According to people in 2ch, previously a lot of 'teachers' from SOL also used this approach to retire. However, they are some teachers who came back. So we wouldn't know, because YUI didn't mention when she will return. Maybe she won't.
Luckily we still have YUI Radio. Life goes on, everything must come to an end. Reminds me of another radio show by Chatmonchy which ended last week.
Hopefully with the extra time, dear YUI can finally achieve her goals, beside making more good music.
1. Car license
2. London
Extra YUI Rumour: Yesterday someone spotted YUI performing street live in Sapporo after her concert. Since he mentioned camera and staff looking people, maybe we might have the chance to see it somewhere? (Source: 2ch, mixi)
PS: I'm taking bus to Malacca tomorrow, not going to bring guitar because Pudu bus station is scary. Loo: Can I have your email address? I'll give you my phone number.

GA-45SCE is spotted in Malaysia
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Misc YUI Rants:
For me being all depressed after reading peoples' encounters with YUI, to summarise everything in brief, here's what they said:
- More beautiful/ kawaii in person than on TV, pictures. Like a doll.
- Nice person.
- Wears casually.
- Talked back to them politely. Very nice personality.
- No pictures, shake hands and signatures are ok.
- Sometimes wears spectacles.
Basically no one have said negatives things, except for those commented on her live performances. Some of the fans even said that they've seen YUI for more than 5 times.
Now, should I be depressed? Being stuck in Malaysia at all. I don't wanna read them anymore >.<
Maybe 'depressed' is not a good word choice. I was jussssst a little bit sad after reading it. Actually it's fun to read their encounters, since I'm a stalker. Getting confirmation from others that YUI is a very down to earth person, on and off screen, proves that mass media can be very manipulative, only shows things such as sleeping in TV shows.
I wonder what will I do if I bumped into YUI. What will you do?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GA-45SCE was once The YUI-guitar before YUI switched to Martin.
Being a YUI fan, of course I have a thing with it. Some fans even bought it.
Now we can touch it, in Malaysia!! Is in the new Bentley Music store at The Courts, near The Curve.
I went to play with it yesterday and fondle with some Squier Tele and Strat lol. The price of GA-45SCE is RM 2790. I agree that the string was setted slightly higher, maybe YUI mastered barre chords through this and playing LIFE, CHE.R.RY?
Since I'm still a noob when it comes to comparing guitars, I think a Takamine sounds good enough to me. Right now I'm saving up for electric guitar, Squier or Fender? My guitar playing skills are still too limited to unleash the potential of these electrics. Better do more research before splurging my hard earned cash because unlike YUI, who owns so many guitars, I'm quite a loyal person. Or should I say, stingy?
Maybe I should get over my shyness and start trying out all the guitars displayed in Bentley. I wonder if they will chase me away or not. I'll bring along my camera in my next trip, to take pictures of that YUI-guitar. Hopefully they'll allow pictures.
They should give me something as return because I'm promoting their shop xD
PS: I confirm going to Malacca this week!! Email me if you want to show me around and meet other Malaccan fans, I still wonder if I should bring along guitar or not, anyone wish to donate theirs?

My YUI Resource List
I was going to name this post 'Ultimate YUI Resource List' but I'm too lazy to dig out all the old links. Basically these are the YUI related websites I check these days.
English
Forums: YUI-Lover. Yea I know it is kinda messy, dig as deep as you can. You'll find a lot of information and inside scoops.
JpopMusic Forums. I like-loathe this thread.
Blogs: Arbitrary Essentials.
Others: Jpopsuki.
Japanese
2channel. A lot of YUI fanatics lurk around this website. This is the place where I get the latest YUI news, gossips, downloads, EVERYTHING. If you know how to navigate around.
Use this search engine. Keywords: YUI, 噂, うp.
My YUI-knowledge has increased tremendously ever since I've figure out the mystery behind 2ch. I just recently found out that the only time YUI ever cried in public was during Taiyou no Uta promotion live tour in Osaka. Source: Taiyou no Uta Official blog (another fantastic blog filled with interesting resources).
Mixi aka Japanese version of Friendster, Facebook. You can stalk a lot of YUI fans' blog to satisfy your YUI-knowledge obsession, especially on YUI's 3rd Tour. They have this thread asking who met YUI in person before, after I read everyone's encounter with YUI, I got so depressed. My advice is: Don't read.
Phone number in Japan is required now for new members to join mixi, just like YUI Fanclub.
Others: Aadd9, YUI Summary, Muta san's Diary.
Official Website: YUI-net, YUI LOCKS.
Chinese
YUI-Forum. I read Manager Diary and Photo Report there. Most of the members there are from Hong Kong and China, they tend to get YUI related goods, magazines faster.
Not forget YUInoZoo. They are Taiwan based, if I'm not mistaken.
Blogs: Karenさん、triperさん
I'm sure I've missed out some other websites, well these are what I check nowadays. You can basically get everything from YL and 2ch. The easiest way is to ask those YUI geeks directly, I'm sure they will pour out everything out willingly, if you ask the correct question, politely.
Maybe I'll do the ultimate resource list someday, if you guys really wanna learn more of this singer songwriter name YUI. Or should I do something like a Q&A corner?
PS: Tuesday with Morrie >> The Five People You Meet in Heaven >> For One More Day
I'm done with these fictional self help books. Shall read something with more...substance now.

YUI 3rd Tour, Start! YUI LOCKS Tour Campaign
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Misc YUI Staff Facts:
Waji san will no longer be YUI's manager due to personnel changes, he is not in YUI's management team any more (Source: Manager Diary).
No more appearances in YUI Radio, no more funny single/ album commentaries, no more insider scoop.
I wonder who's the next manager will be.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
YUI 3rd tour starts on today, May 5 in Fukuoka's Sunpalace. Should I read those live reports and get all jealous?
Ok I've read it. SPOILERS:
YUI sang How crazy. Click here for the whole set list.
In previous tour they have this Red towel Campaign, YUI LOCKS listeners bring along a red towel as a sign that they are YUI's 'students'. This time, the theme is "Laughing Wristband Campaign", suggested by one of the listener.
Basically wear a white wristband to YUI's concert, you can decorate it with ribbons or anything as you wish. When you see someone wearing the same white wristband, strike up a conversation with a smile. In concert, raise the hand with wristband as high as you can.
In short, have fun and Laugh away!!
Actually YUI wore it previously during Rolling star era, but no one mentioned it lol. Memory loss? Or to prevent alienating new fans? I have one white wristband too, thanks to Fanny. I'm gonna give him something back when I visit Singapore around end of this month.
SGYLs, I'm coming!! And yay for making into YUI-net~ Along with YUI-th and YF members. I love to be part of YUI family. A lot of Japanese fans were surprised when they first saw that the Staff Diary entry was in English. They thought something went wrong.
Tomorrow, last paper, and after that me going to have another unofficial YL outing in Malacca.
Update: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Malacca trip will be put on hold T.T
