SCHOOL OF LOCK! LIVE TOUR "YOUNG FLAG" (Zepp Fukuoka)

EDIT: Driving today live at Young Flag was aired in November 1 YUI LOCKS.

Technically we got the chance to listen Driving today in full on yesterday's SCHOOL OF LOCK.

This concert was held on Friday, October 12 at Zepp Fukuoka, YUI's home town, Fukuoka. Artists performed were Jinn, YUI and ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION.

Actual live report can be found here.

Pictures were taken from here.

YUI x Jinn x AKFG together in the same picture?! Both YUI and lead vocal of Jinn (Hiitan, the girl beside YUI) are 20 years old, can sense some rivalry between them in this picture LOL.

I love you both though xD

Dear YUI sang 8 songs in actual live:

1. My Generation
2. Rolling star
3. LOVE & TRUTH
4. Driving today
5. Highway chance
6. RUIDO
7. jam
8. Good-bye days

In yesterday's SOL, they showed a little bit of jam, 'polluted' Driving today (by the 2 hosts), and Rolling star, Good-bye days in full.

If you're wondering who is this girl sitting in front of dear YUI, I mentioned her some time ago, her name is Shiori. Since she's from Fukuoka too, she bought the tickets, brought her guitar, and came to see YUI.

YUI kinda played Shiori's black guitar before that *envies* The guitar in the picture is headmaster's. YUI and Shiori kinda jammed Good-bye days together *envies even more* Shiori didn't sing though, guess she was too nervous, your idol YUI, being in front of you and all.Their 'meeting' was recorded and aired in SOL, apparently this Shiori girl is even more quiet than our dear YUI, I can barely hear what she was saying. Reminds me of YUI, back then lol.

As usual, Good-bye days sounded great. Driving today too.

And Raion as well lol. In this page you can see that a lot of fans brought red towel along too. Some even custom made it. I love SOL haha.

Till then.

New Header/ Banner, SOL, YUI Radio #28

That cool looking banner above is provided by Georgina aka gotchi from YL. Originally it should be like this, with YUI's picture in it:

It took me one week to figure out how to place it properly. I was going to give up on certain point, but professionals said that your blog should have a header graphic, to make your site more memorable. Due to kiasu-ism (afraid to lose syndrome), today I challenged myself again and FINALLY...

Thanks again gotchi!! Oh I love being a YUI fan. Everyone is been so nice.

When you are supposed to study, you tend to waste more time on something unproductive.

Such as, go to Find.2ch (famous Japanese discussion board), search using the keyword 'yui' and read the threads you find interesting.

They have all sorts of YUI versus whoever whoever thread, even YUI vs. Tomoyasu Hotei.

It is like Avril Lavigne vs Steve Vai (don't flame me).

Of course Hotei >>>>> YUI.

And then Ayaka vs YUI. This one is quite interesting. I like the comment on dear YUI seems to have the tendency of continuing her career just like aiko. Of course there are comments flaming here and there, lets not go into it.

SCHOOL OF LOCK will be airing that YOUNG FLAG concert at Zepp Fukuoka today. Is there a possibility that they will air YUI's Driving today?

Till then. Auf Wiedersehen~ (German) [Source: YUI Radio #28]

Yay for my 'professional' looking banner (again)!! Credits to gotchi @ YL

Next will be favicon, anyone?? Hee.

YUI Reads - Galileo/ Yochimu

Album: GO!GO!7188 - 569 (Go Rock!! Woot!!)

We all know that dear YUI loves to read novels, she just finished Higashino Keigo's Yochimu recently.

I would like to read those books she mentioned if there are Chinese/ English versions available, since reading novels in Japanese can be quite a challenge for me T.T Btw, in B-Pass magazine interview, she said that she reads those bestsellers such as Harry Potter and Da Vinci Code too.

At least me read Harry Potter yay.

Back to Yochimu (foresight dream). Apparently this novel is adapted in one of the latest autumn jdrama, Galileo. Basically Yochimu is the second installment of Detective Galileo series.

According to YUI, she picked this novel because she wanted to have a try on mystery novels, she thought that such genre would be slightly difficult to digest but Yochimu seemed to be quite an easy read.

Even though I have not read the novel, the drama, Galileo seems to be quite entertaining, and pleasant on the eyes as well.

Fukuyama Masaharu (physics professor) + Shibasaki Kou (cop) = Hohohoohohohohoho

Apparently Shibasaki Kou was the producer's 3rd selection, after Takeuchi Yuko and Sawajiri Erika. They said Takeuchi Yuko still has this divorce problem, and Erika is too controversial plus too young to be a cop. In the original novel, Kitamura Kazuki should be the one who investigates. Due to certain reasons, male + female combo seems more interesting than 2 guys combo (two very hot + charismatic guys though). Hence Shibasaki Kou.

(New character instead of the one in novel, acted by Kitamura Kazuki. Someone is too disgusted to eat after some corpse-sighting lol)

Better haha, been waiting for so long. Finally another drama of Fukuyama and Kou (some more together, even better). The guest actors line up looks awesome too, first Karasawa Toshiaki, episode 3 will be Hirosue Ryoko, then Smap's Katori Shingo, woah.

If you want to know more, discussions are going on at D-addicts and Jdrama.

This drama reminds me of the days when I was still a science student. Maybe I should watch English subs since I learned all those terms in English lol. Minus the calculating + posing part whenever Fukuyama figured out the reason scientifically (too cheesy), I really like it, so far. Especially every time Professor Yukawa says: Omoshiroi (interesting).

Theme song, even though it was written by Fukuyama, sung by Shibasaki (and Fukuyama, technically), should have been something more related to the drama imo. Maybe I expected too much haha. The ending credits was nicely done though. Cute.

I'm watching Dream Again, Hataraki Man (Kanno Miho~) too. Iryu 2 and Abarenbo Mama are in the list as well.

Guess I should stop staring in front of computer screen and continue my 'reading', which I am supposed to do at the first place.

How I met YUI

As title stated,

Sorry I have a thing with long coat, just have to put a picture of dear YUI with it.

Before that, who is this YUI (in capital letters) girl anyway? She is a Japanese singer songwriter + guitarist. Supposed to be more acoustic based. Blue cat has written a nice introduction of her in JpopMusic Forums, famous YUI Fanblog Blue Wind has one too, even YUI herself wrote 6 chapters of self introduction around the debut time. You can read the translations by Ky Khor at YUI Lover Forum.

Or Google, YouTube, Wikipedia...If you think certain information sounds fishy, then double confirm from me, the YUI encyclopedia *coughs* Maybe I'm not as crazy as some Japanese fans, but when you're in this YUI stalking industry for quite some time, you will know where is the best place to get all the information, and who to believe (if you care haha). I can help you to gather relevant information or ask the correct person. I'm not 'free' all the time though. Best way is to ask in a big place with lots of people.

I have been a YUI fan since end of the year 2005 (trying to sound old). I first 'discovered' YUI on a Japanese music program called CDTV, when she entered single chart with her debut single, feel my soul (around March 2005, I think).

(not this episode of CDTV, example only)

First impression: Cool, another guitar playing girl. But why I feel my soul, take me away?? Ish, Engrish. These Japanese...lame.

That time I couldn't even differentiate between classical and acoustic guitar, but I always wanted to learn it. That was my first impression on dear YUI. Cool, at the same time, typical Japanese English.

Then time passed by, one day, as usual I was skimming through my weekly doses of PopJam, another Japanese music program (around June 2005).

It just happened that I stopped at the chorus part of Tomorrow's way.

Teo: Omg that high pitch sounds annoying. Who is that?? *skips the whole performance*

Time flies and I have no idea what was I doing around that period, STPM perhaps??

On one fine day, as I was watching Bleach the ending caught my attention. It was love at first listen.

I checked at the ending credits,

YUI?? Sounds familiar.

Then it struck me. Aah, that I feel my soul, take me away woman. Curiosity led me *ahem* all her discography at Jpopsuki, and after skimming through her songs, I ended up deleting everything. Apparently I thought her songs were too simple for my taste, or boring. Except LIFE, and a few others. The promotional video was one of my favourite Japanese music video though.

You rarely see such young, simple looking, with nice teeth, guitar playing Japanese girl who can pronounce 'I can change my life' pretty good. Something refreshing in Japanese music industry, I thought. I might not like all her songs, but her I like her image, portrayed in this PV. Of course that time my Japanese was still in kindergarten stage, and I had zero guitar knowledge, I could only judge things on the surface.

Omg I think I just fell in love again typing all these and re-watching LIFE PV for the second time...I shall move forward.

Then TOKYO PV impressed me to the max. YUI isn't just some come and go artist, she proved that she is capable of making it big. That song completely overruled the theory that I prefer 'complex' arrangements (December 2005), which Japanese music is capable of. The sales for this single are disappointing though.

And I begun to wonder how her first album will be, with such beautiful songs, mostly written by her!! Around that time there was this artist thread of YUI in JPM, some members formed YUI Lover forum and promoting the forum at the same time.

I never joined any forum with members less than 1000, let alone 14 members. I kinda pondered about it. So I lurked around and joined after a week, hence member number 54. Through YL, I learned more about YUI and tried to contribute by spamming and lurking around 24/7. At the same time I started guitar lessons and I asked my teacher to tab out TOKYO, since it seems easy. It took me one year to play this song 95% exactly how YUI plays. You show me a cover of TOKYO and I'll know whether this person is a YUI-wannabe or not haha.

I bought my first ever Japanese Edition CD (first online purchase too) around February 2006, it was YUI's debut album FROM ME TO YOU. This was another first few moves of mine towards this YUI fandom. This album is the most played CD in my car, however nowadays, CBML and RADWIMPS 4 are catching up fast though.

How I turned into this YUI-stalker, that was after I joined National Service, and entered University. I can't remember how but Taiyou no Uta definitely played a vital role. Plus knowing that slowly I'm able to handle translating all these YUI related stuff 'forced' me to know more about YUI, and ended up respecting her even more. The way she treats people, things, her passion towards music, her words, actions, inspire and motivate me to be a better person. She's my mentor, my role model, till now.

For example, today I am inspired by YUI again, after reading this interview in SEVENTEEN magazine Oct 1, 2007 issue.

(Thanks to Reset)

YUI said that the reason she kept writing diary almost everyday since 16 is because that she decided to do so. Even though she's not used to such writing stuff in the diary way. Once she decided to do something, she will go for it no matter what. That fits her latest motto, be as good as one's word.

Wish that someday I can clear all my tasks in my every day to-do-list T.T

On the other hand, it can backfire too. In that interview, YUI explained that she's been keeping on her diet regime as well (she always talks about getting slim). So she tried this tofu only diet, in the end she ate more after she got used to the bitterness of tofu. LOL. It can be a bad thing if we stick on one particular thing, she thought so too.

That was it, my encounter with YUI. Moral of the story is, people always different from how they seem. Try not to be too judgemental. I'm a very good example, and still guilty up till today. I think now I have read too much good about her and caused me to be neutral towards most of the YUI related stuff. Spiritually fulfilling though, with all the 'words of wisdoms'. Hopefully I can be a hard working + dutiful messenger.

Of course sometimes I will join the bandwagon and say something like omg that constipated face!! What Engrish is that?! Another single???? So thick the make up!! (sometimes it's REALLY thick haha).

I shall end this with the recent so-called rocker + mature + high class packaged YUI.

(Scanned by gotchi)

Stop talking as if you know me - How crazy

PS: How did you guys discover YUI??

About Me

I like to read detailed profiles, so I shall write long long too.

(Taken by Emily Lin)

Half-banana is me, me is a half-banana. A banana means someone with yellow skin (Chinese) outside, but inside is white. Which means this person is heavily influenced by western culture or cannot speak Chinese. A half-banana? I interpret it as: Yellow skin, people think that you're English educated.

Enough with these stereotypic stuff. I can speak Chinese, English, Malay, Japanese and dialects such Hokkien, Cantonese, and a little bit of hakka. That makes me a half-banana. Lol. Doesn't mean that I can speak 'fluently' though. Good enough to cheat around.

My family name is Teo, I was born in 3 August 1987, and I'm a YUI-stalker. Currently studying in Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, University of Malaya, and major in Japanese. Why I take this course? Because my STPM's CGPA was not good enough for me to take bio-engineering, plus I always wanted to learn Japanese language (been a Japan freak since 14), might as well study something I like. Which became one of the biggest turning point in my life so far. What job can you do with this?? There are some many wonderful things in this life, why should I restrict myself in one particular job? Who says that if you study medical, you should be a doctor? Our former prime minister Tun Dr. Mahathir is a very good example. It's true that I will not be a professional, what matters most is you know what you are doing and you are enjoying it. I chose this and I shall be responsible in every outcome.

I stay in Kajang or sometimes Kelana Jaya. Feel free to come and stalk me around in these areas.

I love to read. Especially on non-fictional stuff, let it be Self-Improvement, Live Hacks, General Knowledge, and of course personal finance =P Recommended reads: The World is Flat, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Dale Carnegie, Haruki Murakami. Chinese books I mostly read fictional ones, 金庸, 九把刀. Recently I feel like reading philosophical stuff, Confucius, Socrates, Aristotle...or maybe classics such as Shakespeare, and try to read Japanese novels...someday. My LibraryThing reading list.

I can play a tiny little bit of guitar, mostly songs by dear YUI. I felt that I started to appreciate music more ever since I learned guitar on January 2006. Female guitarists besides dear YUI me like GO!GO!7188's Yuu, Chatmonchy's Eriko and KT Tunstall.

(My Yamaha acoustic and classical, next will be Red Telecaster, hopefully)

Artists who I can listen to their albums from the beginning till the end (at the moment):

Japanese: YUI, Yaida Hitomi, Shiina Ringo, Utada Hikaru, Onitsuka Chihiro, Base Ball Bear, Chatmonchy, GO!GO!7188, Jinn, RADWIMPS, Remioromen.

English: John Mayer, KT Tunstall, Sarah Mclachlan, Keane, Lifehouse, Snow Patrol, The Corrs.

Chinese: Penny Tai

I used to watch a lot of drama shows, after discovered the benefits of reading and YUI-ing, TV is not a necessity to me any more. You can practically get all the stuff you want through internet *coughs* My Japanese drama list is pretty much dormant these days, I wonder if I can keep up with the new season of American dramas...

Btw How to save my life was inspired by The Fray. Now modified to sound more like a YUI fanblog. Find out How I encounter YUI, if you're interested.

Lastly, I have a pizza face as bumpy as the moon surface, once I can overcome my low self esteem, I will reveal my true identity.

If you believe in the inside surpasses outside theory, contact me.

Normally I will reply in a very nice way if I received nicely written mails.

Checkout my frienster blog if you wanna see how lousy my Japanese is.

EDIT: I think I need more than a week to fix this thing =.=

EDIT2: Basically it will be this template. Still experimenting on the colours and fonts. And where to place all those widgets. Feel free to drop a comment on the chatbox or here.

EDIT3: I wonder why the header looks fine on main page but if select particular post the colour will change.

Kamisama HELP!! Anyone knows why??

I think I had enough of tweaking, time to write posts.

Updates on YUI First LIVE DVD, Thank You My Teens

I mentioned this DVD few days ago, now you can pre order it at HMV Japan, CD Japan, Amazon Japan, Play-Asia and YesAsia.

As usual, me being a cheapskate, I ordered from HMV. Their price is the cheapest among all.

According to YUI-net, this LIVE DVD included performances on the last day of Spring & Jump tour (June 1), which held in Shibuya's C.C. Lemon Hall. This DVD will be released on November 14.

Content :

OPENING
Rolling star
CHE.R.RY

TOUR DOCUMENT 1

Happy Birthday to you you
RUIDO
LIFE
Highway chance

TOUR DOCUMENT 2

Good-bye days
TOKYO

TOUR DOCUMENT 3

Thank you My teens

--------------------------------------------------------------------

WTH, no How crazy?! Umbrella??? *goes to see the actual track list*

OMFG no HELP?! *&%^#@#@ They only included half of the songs, what about the other half? Archive it?? We already seen live preformances of GBD, Rolling star, TOKYO, LIFE for gazillion times, yet...yet...T.T

This is really sad. I rather pay double for the whole thing. No wonder the price seems too good to be true when I first saw it. There are no free lunches in this world.

Luckily we have the chance 'listen' to the whole thing thanks to some nice people.

Means that we might not able to see dear YUI doing the Billy thing?

Not even MCs??? Please, don't edit too much. I will go insane.

They...better...be...more...generous...on the next Budoukan DVD......BETTER. Or show lots and lots of interesting stuff in those so called 'tour document' thingy.

Look at the bright side. No complain no complain. It's a beautiful morning~ We should celebrate since it's the first DVD. Yay!!

Till then.

PS: YUI will appear in Bokura no Ongaku again this Friday, only performance. She sang Sotsugyou sasshin (another cover) with Tokunaga Hideaki.

Showing off my YUI stuff

Album: Jimmy Eat World - Chase This Light

Someone just registered half-banana.com for me (one year), I think I will move this blog to wordpress, but everything is still 'under constructions', I want to make it as 'professional' as possible, so it will take some time. Thanks again for everything Lilian!!

YF has this thread on showing off your YUI stuff, even though mine consider very little compare with other 'God-like' members, just for the sake of promoting dear YUI, I'll flash out all my stuff, it's possible to get all these in Malaysia (technically) so please at least buy her CDs.

I know, my photo taking skill sucks. LOVE & TRUTH is at someone's house, lazy to collect it.

All my YUI stuff:

Thanks to someone, I became one of the proud owner of I remember you Limited Edition =D I should buy a shelf to 'worship' my YUI stuff. It's an insult to keep it in such box, EMS envelopes, even Kinokuniya bags....

All my Japanese magazines...a lot of it I still haven't read =.=

YUI covers galore~

Lastly, even though I'm a YUI Guitars geek, I only have one Yamaha acoustic (F-210), and one Yamaha classical (C-30, which out of tune badly).

Sad. Wait till I collect enough money......

Btw, am I qualify as Malaysian YUI fan who has the most stuff?? Fellow Malaysian, flash yours if you think you have more than me. Me challenge you lol. Nola, the purpose is to make others guilty =P

Time to work.

Till then.

What's Eating Gilbert Grape

Album: Mêlée - Devils & Angels (watch this, nice song)

If you guys like this movie corner, I will introduce more movies dear YUI mentioned, but I have to watch it first haha. You guys have to know where to get these movies though =P

Dear YUI picked this movie as her favourite in some Nude program before (as shown above). Finally I found it and finished 2 days ago.

Yes it's with Japanese subs (another way to learn Japanese). YUI's comment on this movie a bit 'deep' as usual, me just briefly summarise it:

This is a story about the daily lives from a guy's point of view, whom lives with his family in a one small town. Of course there are certain unique parts as well. And conflicts between family members, we don't really see it as outsider. Because of that, compared with the tedious life you felt, from others' perspective, it can be very meaningful. I like the fact that besides evolving around really simple daily lives, this movie has its real significance at the same time.

This is not brief summary =.= Rough translation.

Johnny Depp looked charming as ever, and Leonardo DiCaprio surprised me the most!! Till now I still cannot believe that that Arnie (little brother) was acted by him. Unbelievable!! 素晴らしい~!

Different messages can be interpreted in this movie. What I 'discovered' were 'taking initiative to try out new things', and 'accept reality'. We cannot stay in our comfort zone forever, or protect ourselves from bad things happen to us. We will never experience the joy of living, nor understand why people enjoy certain things so much if we always be the pessimist.

Maybe I should try dancing LOL. I went to dance studio for the first time yesterday, it was a new experience (I did not step in the floor). Just like dear YUI said in Bokura no Ongaku that she went to watch pro wrestling recently, yet another interesting experience xD

And drinking sake when she turned 20 =.= That one better don't try too much.

Till then.

First Live DVD - Thank you My Teens

I'm not a member of YUI Fanclub so cannot put larger picture.

LINK

According to dear YUI in her latest diary entry, this concert DVD (with cool looking jacket) will be released on next month (Nov 14). Finally, confirmed by YUI. Yay!! Why Thank you My teens? Not Spring & Jump?? I think I have to reserve RM 200 for this T.T Can't wait!!

EDIT: Based on the link above, the DVD cost around RM 100, surprisingly cheap, maybe I never buy any concert DVDs before. There will be off shots included (primarily on the addition live of 2nd tour, I think) too, I lurve off shots xD Maybe we can catch a glimpse on dear YUI playing around with drums and bass?! Just hope that they will not edit the concert too much, I wanna see dear YUI doing Billy's exercises.

Speaking of Thank you My teens, remember this documentary?

YUI Lover vivi has translated the whole thing (find it at YL). THANKS!! Now we just have to wait for some kind soul to do the timing for soft/ hardsubs. I'll check it after the final thing is done, me will FOCUS on 'factual' parts lol, grammar part not for me >.<

In that diary entry YUI said that she performed Driving today in Friday's SCHOOL OF LOCK! LIVE TOUR 『YOUNG FLAG』for the first time, in her home town (Zepp Fukuoka to be exact). Me wanna 'hear' it too =.=

Till then.

PS: Selamat Hari Raya to fellow Malaysian out there!! Lontong and rendang sangat best =x

SCN Pickups, Sunburst, Maple Neck, Telecaster

Album: QUEEN - JEWELS

This post is dedicated to someone who owns a overheat easily computer and some other person who left me offline message the other day.

I guess most of you people have noticed, dear YUI got herself another electric guitar again.

American Series American Telecaster : 2-Color Sunburst/ Maple Neck

According to Fender Japan, dear YUI picked this as the sub-electric guitar in her 2007 Spring & Jump tour.

Direct Translation:

This model has mounted with Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Pickups. Even though there are other pickups such as Vintage Noiseless (on Eric Clapton model) which produces distinguishable edgy tone using Alvino (magnet), or Hot Noiseless (on Jeff Beck model) which produces this vibe middle range tone using Ceramic (magnet), dear YUI seems more interested in Samarium Cobalt's (magnet) classical devilish tone.

For Strat, YUI will use Super-Sonic amp, and for Tele, she'll make it sound using Twin Amp '01 (at home will be G-DEC). Right now instead of humbucker's distorted rough tone, perhaps she's more into single coil's overdrived bright tone? As expected, able to tell the difference (girl!). But it's the sound of classic rock which YUI likes.

The last part me don't really get it. I have updated YUI's Electric Guitars post too.

PS: My holiday starts today. Technically. Must fully 'utilise' it.

Time for a change

This entry is dedicated to Go Dot Com contest with prizes sponsored by 5xmom who runs the Make$ Money$ blog and she is contributing back to the blogging community with the money she earned. She will be giving away monthly prizes if this contest is popular. Please encourage your readers and friends to participate as well.

This marks my 100th post. Which means on average, I update every 4 days. Not very often I suppose.

Today I had a presentation for one of my elective class (English for Business Communication), guess what my topic was?

"What I have earned through blogging"

LOL!!

That's why I think blogging is beneficial. In a sense that I will always have something to talk about (or link) when it comes to presentations.

Besides, isn't it great that someone, from the other side of the world, is actually reading the crap you have been writing? If they are nice enough, they will even spend 1 minute of their lives (or more) to drop you a comment (either good or bad).

Such satisfaction, this sense of belonging, you can get it through blogging.

Of course you can get it through YUI-ing as well xD

As a linguistic student, through blogging my language ability has improved tremendously (still have to work hard on it). I can convey my thoughts in English better, and thanks to you guys, I got 9.5/10 in a Japanese-English translation test *cough*ROCKIN'ONJAPAN*cough*

When it comes to YUI, in order to prove that I'm the number 1 stalker in Malaysia, I have to be constantly updating myself on dear YUI. Even though I don't mention it, doesn't mean that I don't know. Just lazy to write/ explain everything *Runs away* And I have to clearly state out the sources, where did I find that, this has made me more resourceful. Especially on getting *ahem* stuff. That's really beneficial.

Oh yea my obsession on YUI's guitars has introduced me to the world of pick-ups, pedals, hollowbodies, tremolo...(I still have trouble on these terms) and made friends with a couple of guitar geeks (and pros). Even though my guitar skill still pretty much sucked (too paiseh to show around), at least I can rant with them with all these guitar terminologies, 'pretending' that I actually know a lot, lol.

Me started this blog on July 2006, out of curiosity. Then somehow it became a YUI fanblog, which has nothing to do with half-banana nor how to save a life. So I was thinking of having a makeover...(if I win).

Then announce some big news.

Till then.

PS: What should I name my new website then? How to stalk YUI?!

Moderator

Album: Kiss - Gold

Kinda skimmed through this program called Gene Simmons Family Jewels on TV, 'discovered' that he's from KISS after did some wiki-ing lol. YUI listens to them too, according to some Fender staff.

Anyway, I have been 'selected' as moderator of News, General Talk and Pictures section in YUI Lover, finally. I actually wanted to be part of YL since...I joined YL, which was on 15 January 2006. It's been a long time, I guess. Thank you for choosing me to be part of the team. I think it's fascinating that us YLovers, from different background, possessing different skills, met here, and contribute whatever knowledge we have. Hopefully someday I have the chance to meet you guys at the other side of world.

When I first joined YL, there were only 50+ of us. I still haven't started any 'formal' Japanese classes, and pretty much ignorant (not that I am really 'enlightened' now anyway). It's amazing how much we can learned in such a short period of time, and how much have changed. Dear YUI is one of the top female singer now, and me, *coughs* can finally understand a little bit of Japanese, and do a little bit of guitaring. Still have a long way to go though. A very...long...way.

Since I'm a first timer (moderator thing), so if I made any mistakes, do inform me. So far, pretty cool I suppose. Maybe I should celebrate it by flashing a picture of mine, lol.

I might be more 'sarcastic' than ever from now on. LOL. Don't try to spread fake news of YUI you people. I beg you guys, please read and use abit of your brain before posting.

If you guys wanna check how bad my Japanese is, feel free to visit my friendster blog. For friendster, my definition of 'friends' is people I've met face to face before (there are some exceptions though). It's not that I chose to ignore those who tried to add me, maybe I'm more cautious?! Speaking of friendster, my face is 'circulating' around in some people's profiles >.<

Tomorrow will be Music Station (and Rock In Japan Fes), ooo~

Till then.
