I'm going off to Niigata -> Yamagata -> Akita -> Aomori -> Hokkaido (Sapporo) -> Hokkaido (Hakodate) -> Aomori -> Iwate -> Miyagi -> Fukushima -> Tokyo, to celebrate my first Christmas in Japan.

Hopefully I can survive the coldness of Hokkaido, the land of Marimokkori.
