----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Misc YUI Facts:
Allow me to elaborate more on YUI likes to 'sleep' in Music Station.
Have you guys watched Mezamashi TV on April 28? Anyway what is that song 17 years old YUI sang in the beginning?
Ooo I love the intro of Laugh away~ Half live performance =D They even have a closed up shot of the girl drummer, Mai san. The moment YUI sang the wrong lyrics, her expression changed and she missed one chord xD
Back to main topic, since they were 4 person interviewing YUI, she moved to her left and right quite often, even though it seems that she was too shy to look into their eyes directly, she tried to face them when they were talking to her.
Yea, she moved towards left and right...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
YUI once mentioned in YUI Radio that she doesn't encourage fans to buy her stuff 'illegally', as a 'loyal' fan, of course I follow her advice. I don't have any of her tour goods.
Of course, that is because I'm a student with limited budget. Good excuse to comfort myself.
However, I ain't gonna miss out this time. I shall use all my connections and get them all 'legally'.
Currently I'm eyeing on towel, phone strap, key holder, drink bottle, T-shirt, Jacket....almost everything LOL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm reading The Introvert Advantage. After flipping through 40+ pages non-stop, I'm proud to confirm that I'm an "innie". Classic example: I prefer one on one conversation than going out with whole group of people.
And based on my observation, I think YUI is introvert as well, lol trying to make some connections. No wonder I can 'understand' her, haha, hahaha. Well the author said that 25% of people is this world are introverts, so, maybe you are one of them/us too.
Enough of this. Being an extrovert is good too, generally we prefer outgoing people.
4 more papers to go.
PS: Around 40 reminds me of Kekkon dekinai otoko. I'm gonna like Fujiki Naohito's character, eco-guy, "I'm not kiamsiap (stingy), I'm environmentalist." lol. Plus it has something to do with psychology.
I can't help but kept on smirking every time I skim through Last Friends xD
EDIT:「あたしの美知留に触るな!」ww
That guy really is SOL's principal!! Or should I say, I've seen him quite often in other dramas xD
'Studying Japanese', you know.

Study First, YUI Next
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Misc YUI Facts:
Do you know why YUI did Wu~wang in that DHC Countdown Japan radio show??
Because someone standing outside was holding a signboard, requested YUI to do so.
And she really did it.
Someone who went there told me this indirectly.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stop smiling you bastard.
Due to bad time management, I have to force myself to stop all my YUI-ing activities and focus on finishing my assignment on Korean language (quite interesting), and upcoming exams, which, I haven't even started yet, and first paper on Wednesday. This is going to be fun.
Will be back around May. Tell me if you miss me, I'll be glad to hear that xD
Meanwhile, don't forget your Marimokkori, yes, that thing YUI mentioned in her latest YUI Diary.

Marimokkori has finally arrived!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Misc YUI Facts:
I read that YUI did cry when she performed TOKYO in Budoukan. Her teardrop/tears 'washed off' her make up. REALLY?!!
Someone rip that DVD NOW!! (Direct download please)
EDIT: I didn't see any 'tear'. It was very touching though, they make it so dramatic T.T
And, I like this Yahoo interview on I LOVED YESTERDAY. The interviewer kinda teased YUI that she was shocked by the lyrics of Love is all, as a writer. She could feel that YUI really loves her songs.
Then when the interviewer asked whether YUI will say 'No way' to her boyfriend if he keeps on looking at mobile phone when they're on a date, YUI replied that maybe she will resist the urge and just say 'I'm fine', like in Namidairo.
LOL so cute.
Apparently CM version and album version of Laugh away are slightly different. The strings arrangement part. I lazy to double confirm. Tell me if that's true =P
YUI went to Syrup16g's live recently. They just disbanded, and I just listened to their songs for the very first time...
Lastly, YUI will be looking forward to perform My Generation and No way in her upcoming 3rd tour.
I would like to see Daydreamer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That big one with evil laughing voice is not for sale. Picture is taken using laptop's integrated web cam.
Each costs USD 10 (RM 29, for Malaysian), excluding shipping fees to you.

11. Rob - B (Philippines)
12. chiyo - B (Malaysia)13. akyna24 - B (Malaysia)
14. Hammie - G (Malaysia)
I'm gonna round up the numbers to support my YUI fund. So USD 10, RM 29??
Wait, Japanese yen is rising these days......
So, how shall I get rid of these...I'll go to the post office and double confirm the actual shipping fee.
Or if you want to make my life easier (exam coming soon), you can check out the postal rates here, should be around 36g. Then tell me which type of mail you prefer, and how much you've estimated, address, stuff like that to howtosavemylife@gmail.com.
Meanwhile, don't forget to include:
1. Processing fee - USD 2 or RM 5 for Malaysians
2. Shipping fee from Hokkaido to Tokyo - 45 yen (RM 1.50 or USD 0.50)
Example: Using today's currency rate, Natsumi has to pay me RM 21.17 for that doll, processing fee of RM 5, and shipping fee of RM 1.50. Postal fee should be less than RM 5, in Malaysia.
Total: RM 27.67 + Postal fees
Round up = RM 29 haha.
EDIT:
Today I went to Post Office and checked out the actual postal fees. Met up with akyna24 (same university) too. I'm going to put marimokkori into those brown envelopes, if you guys are fine with it.
Shipping fees using airmail:
Canada - USD 1.00
Singapore - SGD 0.70
Philippines - 20.50 Philippine pesos
Malaysia - RM 0.50
Postal fees in Malaysia is really cheap.
For more info, check out these threads.
Thanks in advance.
PS: My sensei was stopped by the Japanese custom and they asked her what are those stuff inside her luggage. She replied: 玩具です。
Luckily that big one was wrapped nicely in white and they didn't notice.

I LOVED YESTERDAY - What do you think?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Misc YUI Videos:
I realised that my assumptions on YUI being more open these days is not entirely correct after I watched this video about her latest album (WCEX).
Couldn't stop laughing at YUI's reservedness. So cute. The hosts were so enthusiastic on meeting YUI in person but as usual, she gave short answers.
Sometimes a lot of things cannot be explained through conversations I guess. It's just like when I tell people that my idol is YUI, people will start making assumptions that I have a thing with girls or I'm a freak/nerd who lives within my own world. It's difficult to explain everything why you like her so much unless people willing to listen to your rants.
So, let them interpret themselves. That's why if you know me personally, I think I don't mention YUI that often when I meet up with people face to face. My juniors think that I'm a super busy body. Sad. It's my fault though haha.
Apparently YUI's pets are still alive!! The guy host made YUI did that camera frame thingy in Laugh away PV. And that makes Teo a happy girl.
YUI looks cute in yellow xD
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have listened to I LOVED YESTERDAY. It has leaked and I ain't gonna torture myself from not listening to it.
First impression: I'm so gonna buy two copies to show my love.
From Love is all:
いいこと書いてねやっと生まれた歌だから
Love this song
Please write something nice Because this song has finally created
Love this song
Check out YUI thread @ JPM Forums for more unbiased reviews.
I'm going to do a lot of last minute work this week so while I'm trying to finish my homework + studies, I would like to hear your opinions on I LOVED YESTERDAY. Feel free to rant 'nicely' at half-banana dot com.
Will reply all the comment for sure (including those in previous posts). Once I have gathered relevant information on this album from various interviews. Who plans to buy these two magazines?? I'm dying to read them. I can only afford few magazines T.T
What's your verdict?
PS: I have sent my email to that two newspapers. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I enjoyed making a big fuss over this small matter, haha. The power of internet.

Love is all at Music Station
I feel like ranting about this.
Note: I have been reading Chinese entertainment news ever since I have learned how to read Chinese. Just that back then, YUI wasn't in the entertainment industry. I'm fascinated by the fact that selective ignorance can actually turn into a scary habit.
Background song: Love is all
I like both YUI and Hikki, I don't know if they like each other but,
As I was happily watching this 3 hours long Music Station SP (4 April 2008), and planning to share my discoveries with you guys, I found this Chinese news report on this episode of Music Station.
Source: Oriental Daily News, credits to Ylous @ YL
YUI Dozing Off
Basically first they insult Utada's appearance in last night's Music Station, saying that a lot of Japanese internet users trashed her fashion sense (I better don't elaborate this), then they say those internet users found that YUI, who was sitting beside Hikki, was actually sleeping.
Captions on the picture: When Utada was having interview, YUI, who was sitting at the row behind, sleeping sweetly.
Excuse me?? Did you actually watch the video on Utada being interviewed?? What if Hikki fans saw this?? What if people actually believe in this??
The most you can say is YUI wasn't paying attention. Somehow this news got circulated around and another paper 太陽報, accused YUI for not giving face (showing respect) to Hikki.
People were just looking down at the small TV thingy in front of her okay? YUI prefers seeing people's face through that TV instead of staring their backs, is there any problem with that? The moment she blinks her eyes, you snap a screenie, then create stories based on that picture you have. Or worse, bumped into this picture while finding any possible news material through internet because you ran out of ideas, and decided to make stories from it.
EDIT: They actually 'cropped' away that TV in front of YUI, I'm really amazed.
マガイもの そうじゃないもの集めて
値段をつけてる
そんなんじゃ やっかいだ 困難だ
どうなんの?この先 ・・・教えてほしい
Collecting real things and fake ones
And then labeling them a price
That really is troublesome, and troubling
What now about the future? Please tell me
Being used to how famous Hong Kong tabloid is, the most we can do is let people know that it isn't true. But I was surprised by the reaction of certain fans.
- If I were YUI, sitting there for three hours, I'll fall asleep too.
- If YUI's ok with it, I don't see anything wrong about it.
- I bet she's tired.
- I'm not sure if it's true or not.
The first thing I did was rewatch that part again, instead of saying, "looks like she's sleeping" or things like that. Well, that's inevitable I guess. We tend to make judgment within a snap, who has the time to analyse everything anyway.
疑ってるんでしょ?ニセモノだ ホンモノだ
で、あなたはどうなの?
You must be doubtful, right? Fake or real?
Then, what do you think?
If you have 'observed' YUI long enough, we can make an assumption that she's an extremely well mannered, empathetic person. You will never see her acting sloppily when she's in any TV shows, she always sits super straight, doesn't even cross her legs in front of camera (unless she isn't aware of it). To prevent being misunderstood or offended someone in any way, she tends to avoid answering certain questions, or gives generic answers instead.
YUI, sitting super straight. I really should learn to sit properly =x
Do you think that she'll actually fall asleep in a LIVE and prestigious TV show like Music Station?? It is consider extremely rude to do so, especially in Japan.
言われっぱなしの毎日で 何処にも行けないや
週刊誌に撮られちゃいけないようなこともないし
Being told off everyday, I can't get anywhere
There are no such things that say that I can't be taken by papparazzi in magazines
What can we do about this? File a complaint through email? I tried once when Sin Chew Jit Poh mistaken YUI as ERIKA, no response.
That doesn't mean that I will stop trying. If you guys know emails of those who are responsible, I'll be glad to write them a complaint letter, in a civilised manner, of course. The least we can do is through our complaints, hopefully that in the future, they will report nice things about YUI. Instead of letting them do as they pleased, even though we cannot avoid this, because this tabloid thing has been there for ages.
EDIT (provided by CDS):
news@oriental.com.hk
news@the-sun.com.hk
Lets go ahead and blast them together lol. If you go overboard and stalk artists privately and provide us all these interesting facts, we can only say that you're breaching people's privacy (Flash Exciting magazine). But now you are making up stories which aren't true. What kind of story will you create next??
くらべたがるあの人にも伝えて
もうちょっと愛のある言葉で
Do tell the person who loves to compare.
With words that are filled with a little more love.
Spare some love, people. Because Love is all.
Hopefully YUI will Laugh away. If somehow she found out about this.
Special thanks to doobie @ JPS for the video, members @ YF for inspiring me, and depyon @ YL for the English translation of Love is all (with minor modifications from yours truly).
イマヤリタイコトガ イマヤレテマスカ?
もちろんそうです いつだってそうです
望んでる答えも見えるけど ah ah
Things that you really want to do now Are you able to continue doing them now?
Of course. As always, of course
I can even see the answer that I have been looking for ah ah
I'm glad to hear that. Keep doing your thing, love oneself.
PS: Trying to find the perfect time to listen I LOVED YESTERDAY from track one till track 13...
