I made a lot of promises these days lol (in virtual world), such as:

1. Translate How crazy and rant about it. (still in progress and I managed to 'dig' out some extra info about this song)
2. Translate this questionnaire. (to commemorate YUI's birthday)
3. Translate this magazine scan by Reset. (finished)
4. Explain the wuu~wang thing. (drafted, still have to include photos and translations)

I will do it for sure. Just be patient xD Give me 2 weeks.

Meanwhile, been listen to a lot of jpop albums lately. The ones I listen the most will be:

Can't believe I turned them down when they released their first single, Raion.....I like their song arrangements, have problems trying to figure out the lyrics though, with the way the female lead sings. After read their interview in B-Pass, I think I have to 'arrange' my fave band ranking now....Guess I've got to say good bye to mainstream pop now....besides YUI. Nah, dear YUI writes her own songs, different =P

I LOVE Base Ball Bear's latest song (dakishimetai) too~ Their singles only 800 yen??? That's nice (I'm broke T.T ).

Discovered another girl band GO!GO!7188 too~ Listening to this album. (HMV doesn't have their album =.= )

Have to explain something here: I'm from Chinese school, and I studied Chinese up till form 5. That's why you can notice a lot of grammar mistakes in my entries bleh =P . Course mates kept asking me whether I'm English 'act/ ed?' (educated?) or not -_-" Frankly, my English is the worst in my research paper class........T.T It scares the hell out of me every time I had to do presentation in class, which is almost.....every Friday. And I code-switch/mix (linguistic term lol) all the time.......So, clear? Well it doesn't mean that my Chinese is good though LOL. Every time I try to use those 'flowery phrases' I always failed miserably haha.

See who's interpretations you like the most =P Since I'm a so-called 'Japanese Purist' [Quoted from Blue Wind], I prefer the ones by Jewelray and zuttodayo hee. Well in the end we just trying to convey dear YUI's message to you guys out there in our own way (though I wish to make it as YUI-ish as possible), different people have different perspectives. As long as it doesn't 'off' too much, it's all your call =) First I have to improve my Japanese LOL, as well as Chinese and English haha xD Paiseh. Please correct me if I made any mistakes, don't want to 'ruin' dear YUI's lyrics with my sucky translation.

Such a sexy cover with her sunburst strat xD Luckily this is the cover for limited edition if not I will be so tempted to buy both. Going to buy it from HMV Japan, as usual. Amazon Japan doesn't offer economy shipping anymore (cheapest option), now they are on par with CD Japan......have to go Kinokuniya again for magazines....or eat more bread.

Some prefer the normal edition because it more YUI. Since she said that this album will be more 'rock-ish', plus the boots look hot lol. Nah actually I have a thing with guitars so I prefer YUI with guitar more. The LE cover's style is similar with YUI's previous album cover, some people have problem with it. And now you're talking YUI is changing her style, the irony. Bah, looks like a lot of 'veteren' fans will give this album a final shot because for them YUI has lost her 'acoustic touch'. And people start saying that her voice lost the 'angelic/ pure or watever' feel as well, her live performance is getting worse. So many negative comments despite dear YUI looks happier now, maybe that is the main reason haha.

Since the reason I like her so much is her personality, that won't affect much. Anyway I still think that her songs are as good as the past ones, if you don't like the melody, take a look at the lyrics. Still don't like, try to find out what YUI was trying to convey when she wrote this. Well that might be a little bit difficult since most of the interviews are in Japanese......a lazy person like me will only do it if you ask over and over again haha. That's why I rant from time to time at YUI lover after watching certain lives and programs, just to let the overseas' fans know more about dear YUI.

Lets switch to something more positive. YUI went to Music Station again.



She actually did that sign thingy!!! wuu~~~wang!! Well only YUI Radio listeners will understand that haha. When I first heard about it I was literally...shocked, she really did that?? She kept saying that she can't do it (dekinai dekinai, muri) in YUI Radio, now she has done it (uncomfortably), just for us fans =D Personality. Her outfit looks similar with her new album cover, coincidence???

I've gotta mention Angela Aki.



She turned back and clapped all the while when YUI was walking down the stairs during the intro. And she even patted dear YUI (see that mysterious hand) when YUI was off to perform on stage. Such a nice moment~ *hint hint* Both from Sony as well *more hint*. Heard that Angela is getting married, wish her good luck =D As usual, Angela was in her 'numbered' T-shirt + jeans + Converse lol.

YUI started off first again, no small talk with Tamori san =(



White wristband, as promised in YUI Radio =D Putting it at the headstock won't affect the sound meh? Must put caps of constipated look haha. Since this time she performed it 'live' (as is playing instrument live) along with her bandmates, you know have to play guitar + singing at the same time in a live braodcast program can be quite 'frightening'. If you listen carefully, during the end of chorus after the bridge (haru no tsumetai yokaze ni...), dear YUI messed up the chords =P You can hear the buzzing sound nyahahaha...that's what we called LIVE.



Her pedal is always filled with lots of weird stuff xD More and more animals =.= last time only had cows and pigs. Maybe it has something to do with those stuffed animals on the cover CHE.R.RY.

If you watched her previous apperances in Music Station, she's always looked nervous and her facial expression was serious all the time throughout the program (nervous ma). This time she was really relaxed and even sang along with her own song during the ranking thing. Something is not right......



Smiling and smiling, nodding and gave responses during talks of other artists. That's a first. Somemore wears the same ring (I think) recently......莫非是....



That cuter guy from Yuzu actually kinda looked at dear YUI and smiled trying to you know, make contact or something but dear YUI just 'replied' it with a nod or something (so cold blooded haha).

She mentioned about the wuu~wang!! thing too in the comment board after MS.

It has been a nice weekend for me, even though I have to attend some stupid talk tommorow. I received my JLPT Level 3 result:

And for once I don't have to go all the way to the post office to get my package.



Sadly, one of the CD (CHE.R.RY) scratched, haih, again. And it comes with some weird looking sticker designed by some LISMO creative director.



Now left I remember you (limited edition) and It's happy line, why I didn't buy it back then =/ Nah, save the money for an acoustic-electric better. Life must have some regrets, to make us stronger =P

CHE.R.RY is a fun song to play~ I'm proud with that big blister on the side of my index finger lol.

Been trying to pay attention on the lyrics these days when I listen to songs. 'Discovered' that our dear YUI wrote quite a number of love songs actually. Always thought that she always talk about life, struggles in her songs lol =x Plus she always uses 3rd person point of view everytime people ask her something about 'love'. So it's kinda hard to figure out if she's....*ahem*.

The YUI love song 'directness' ranking:

1. CHE.R.RY - "because I like you~" (this one is fictional imo, after reading the interviews)

2. Cloudy - "I want you because I love you" (woah :O )

3. Ready to love - "because I always want to be by your side, really like that presence, the voice" (this used to be number one in my ranking, but she co-wrote with someone else...)

4. Good-bye days - "I wish to be by your side"　（そばにいて　I wish ）xD

5. I can't say - this one not really direct though, about how she wish that she could express her feelings to someone she cares, but she can't, she can only wish that he'll notice it someday....this song sounds YUI the most, back then my impression on this song would be, 'calming'. But now, I started to appreciate this song more. Why katakana in the lyrics??? Hmm....

So, pay more attention on the lyrics if you try to like that particular song (because it is sung by your idol or something), maybe you'll discover something about it and ended up loving it, might turn out to be the other way though, hate it even more lol.

Album: Angela Aki - Piano Live ONE

Yesterday we had a primary school class reunion gathering thing. I reached there around 8:05 pm. It supposed to start on 8, I thought I was late but surprisingly, I was the first person to reach there. After waiting for 5 minutes outside the restaurant like an idiot, decided to return back home. Even though at that time I spotted someone I knew inside the car. After the reunion thing, my friend told me that someone was there since 7.30 pm, guess I didn't recognise her anymore after so long -_-" Sorry for being such impatient.

And guess what, one of my classmate actually got married and have an baby daughter!! :O Shows that a lot of things can be changed within the 7-8 years of time span. So choose the path you wanna take carefully as it will decide the future...I shall stop procrastinating from now on =.=

Speaking of these reunion, I found out this info when I was digging around Music Station's homepage.

この3月に20歳のお誕生日を迎えられるYUIさん。1月8日の「成人の日」は地元福岡には戻らず、東京にいらっしゃったそうです。
お仕事のため福岡のお友達から誘われた同窓会に参加出来ず、振り袖もまだ着ていないということ。「思い出になるので、振り袖は今年中には絶対に着たいです！！」とおっしゃっていました。まだ拝見したことはないけど、着物姿のYUIさん、すごく似合いそうです♪♪

Seems that dear YUI didn't go back to Fukuoka to attend the Adult Ceremony AND she turned down her classmates' offer to class reunion as well, kononnya working. Oh this was taken from 'Do! Mari Mail', written by the female announcer in Music Station. As for the kimono I was obsessed about few weeks ago, it was definitely YUI's idea to wear kimono to the ceremony instead of dress. Because from Mari san's mail YUI said to her that:" For memories' sake, I will wear kimono for sure this year!!" So cute >.<

YUI is going to perform in this Friday's Music Station, the guest list looks great too. Angela Aki~ I always have the thought that both Angela and dear YUI has the same 'fashion' style LOL. T-shirt + jeans + Converse combo. Maybe Angela more extreme since her hairstyle....one word - wicked. YUI have to maintain the 'idol' image so cannot be too casual lol. Even though both have very different personalities, when it comes to music, one always with her piano, the other one always with her guitar. You give them one instrument and they can perform in front of you on the spot, no sound engineers or other nonsense, that's what I like about them.

They even love the brand AC/DC =P

Oh listening to Driving Today now lol, CHE.R.RY single leaked again. Reminds me of Blue wind, has the calming, relieve effect. I was expecting some climax towards the end or during the chorus, unfortunately there's none. The song is too short =( It is a nice song to listen while driving, especially during peak hours lol.
